Photographer, Videographer, Content Creator & Drone Pilot
My name is Daniel Budaes, and I am a professional photographer, videographer, content creator and drone pilot based in the Netherlands. I am also active on social media, where more than 100,000 people follow my photography, videos, travel experiences and visual stories from the Netherlands and around the world.
My passion for creating tulip content started unexpectedly in 2021. During a visit to Keukenhof, I filmed several videos simply because I was fascinated by the colors, atmosphere and beauty around me. Those videos went on to reach more than 20 million views across social media. That was the moment I realized I could combine my passion for visual storytelling with helping people discover the Dutch tulip season.
Since then, tulip season has become one of my favorite times of the year to create. I have photographed and filmed tulip fields and attractions such as Tulip Experience Amsterdam and The Tulip Barn, capturing both the flowers and the experience of visiting these locations.
I work with professional cameras, traditional drones and FPV drones to create photographs, portraits and cinematic aerial footage. The endless rows, patterns, colors and varieties of tulips offer unique possibilities for creative storytelling.
Through my content, I want to inspire people to visit the Netherlands, discover its tulip destinations and experience the beauty of the season for themselves. For me, it is about more than creating beautiful images — it is about sharing an experience and showing the Dutch tulip fields from unique perspectives.
