World Tulip Summit Program

Join us at the World Tulip Summit for an enriching program designed to foster connections among colleagues from around the globe. Dive into new insights and innovative ideas from experts in tourism, media, horticulture, and marketing, and elevate your tulip attraction. Featuring over 40 esteemed speakers poised to cover a diverse array of topics, our comprehensive schedule will be updated regularly. Keep an eye out for the latest speaker confirmations.

We are currently preparing the program for the 10th edition from 9-11 November 2026. Keep an eye on the schedule for regular updates.

This year’s Summit will bring together tulip attractions, growers, breeders, tourism professionals, and industry leaders from around the world to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and celebrate the global tulip industry.

Due to strong international interest, we have expanded the three-day program with two dedicated professional tracks during the site visits on 9 and 11 November.

Horticulture Track

The Horticulture Track offers exclusive site visits and professional exchanges covering the entire tulip value chain, from breeding innovative new varieties to cultivation, forcing, landscape design, and care.

Highlights include visits to:

  • Hobaho, where participants will gain insight into the development of future tulip varieties through advanced hybridization.
  • Zwet Tulips, one of the world’s leading tulip producers, forcing more than 200 million cut tulips annually in state-of-the-art, climate-neutral facilities.
  • Leading bulb growers, where you’ll learn about cultivation techniques, planting equipment for large-scale tulip fields, variety selection, and the production of potted flowering bulbs to ensure perfect bloom timing.
  • An exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to Keukenhof, the world’s largest spring flower garden, providing unique insights into its design, planting strategies, and operations.

Marketing & Tourism Track

  • The Marketing & Tourism Track focuses on increasing attraction value, visitor experience, marketing, public relations, and destination development.
  • Participants will visit Keukenhof and several leading tulip attractions to explore successful marketing strategies and operational best practices. The program also includes a visit to Fien & Teun Adventure Farm & Resort, an outstanding example of children’s recreation combined with strong Holland branding and storytelling.
  • Additional attraction visits will be announced soon.

Conference Programme – Tuesday, 10 November

The central conference day features keynote presentations, interactive panel discussions, and roundtable sessions designed to encourage knowledge sharing and international exchanges.

One of the featured sessions will be:

  • “The Influencer’s Perspective on Tulip Attractions”, where three internationally recognized influencers will discuss how destinations can increase their global visibility through digital storytelling and social media.
  • Additional speakers and programme details will be announced in the coming months.
  • In the evening, participants are invited to the World Tulip Summit Awards Gala Dinner, welcoming ambassadors from participating countries together with invited representatives from government, media, and the international floriculture industry.
  • During the gala, we will also celebrate the 10th anniversary of the World Tulip Summit with a special screening of the upcoming documentary The Journey of the Tulip, currently in production.
