Chad began his career at Tulip Time in January 2022 as the Group Sales and Entertainment Coordinator, managing group travel and concert coordination. He is the Director of Events and Operations, taking on additional responsibilities in financial operations and event production. Chad contributes to the success of the Tulip Time Festival, which attracts over half a million visitors annually and contributes $48 million to the West Michigan economy.
In recognition of his leadership, Chad received the Community Matters HYP Leadership Award in 2022. He serves as the programming chair for the Holland Young Professionals board and sits on the City of Holland Principal Shopping District Board of Directors, and he is the vice chair of the West Coast Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Leadership Team.Prior to Tulip Time, Chad attended Grand Valley State University, obtaining a degree in hospitality and tourism management. After graduation he started his career at the Holland Civic Center Place as Event Manager.
