Every year, millions of people visit gardens, festivals and farms across the world to enjoy the beauty of the tulip and celebrate the start of Spring. We often do not realise what an impact this flower actually has. Together with world renowned landscape photographer Albert Dros, The World Tulip Society has started a project to capture that impact: the beauty of the tulip and the joy it brings to people.
Albert has photographed in his unique style already three gardens in spring 2024, at Filoli (USA), Keukenhof (Netherlands) and Dafeng Holland Flowers (China). We look forward to complete the series with other tulip attractions in Spring 2025, after which we will promote the series along with an editorial about the ‘Journey of the Tulip’ to global media outlets and other activations (photo exhibitions, etc.)
